There are some real problems despite the hotel's great location, good breakfast, and very cordial staff. Renovations have apparently been going on for two years, with work even on weekends. They started on a Saturday before 7 a.m. and made SO MUCH NOISE. I found that very disrespectful to guests. Our already renovated room also had a huge leak in the shower enclosure, so the bathroom turned into a pool when we showered. Some outlets were loose and didn't work either. Someone should check the work after it's done instead of waiting for guests to complain. The price would be fair if these issues weren't there.

The location is good, and the cleanliness was impeccable. Breakfast was delicious, with most items made at the hotel, all fresh and good quality. The new owners are investing in the place and improvements are ongoing. The renovated rooms look beautiful. I'd suggest asking for a room on the eighth or ninth floor.
