The mountain view and the quiet were the bright spots. The rest of our stay was disappointing and frustrating. The social media photos make the place look cozy, but our suites were basic, the rooms smelled strongly and unpleasantly, and there were cobwebs on the ceiling plus spiders on some bedding and towels. We asked for the rooms to be cleaned, but they were still dirty afterward. The bathrooms weren’t cleaned, the floors were still dirty, the trash was full until I asked for it to be taken out, and there wasn’t enough toilet paper. We stayed three nights and got no fresh towels. The common areas also looked neglected: the old furniture by the pool and on the upstairs balcony was in poor shape, and cleanliness throughout was poor. The place really needs more professionalism. Breakfast wasn’t abundant. You had to ask for eggs, and the serving was tiny, one egg per person. When juice ran out they didn’t refill it unless you asked; the cheese breads were always hard. It’s irritating to pay a lot expecting quality service and not get it. I asked the owner to turn on the pool’s hydro massage, and she said it ran automatically, but it never did while we were there. On the last day they cleaned the pool and turned it on for other guests, which didn’t seem fair. It felt like they were cutting costs even though we paid a high price and weren’t treated well. After our stay, I also got a message from the owner that I found disrespectful, unnecessary, and unprofessional.
