Pousada Aysú

The breakfast, served à la carte, was carefully prepared, beautifully presented, and offered plenty of choice with selected products. The leisure area is lovely, with a striking pool facing the sea and a complete gym with new, modern equipment. We stayed in a spacious room with a privileged sea view and a private pool. It made for a special sense of privacy and well-being. The new pousada is very well maintained, with modern facilities and beautiful, fragrant, high-quality details throughout. Its bedding and towels deserve a mention: Trousseau linens felt elegant and extremely comfortable, and the Loccitane amenities added to the sense of care. The place balances sophistication with a welcoming feel. Every staff member was kind, polite, attentive, and ready to make the stay special. Special thanks to Joana and Saulo, who looked after us directly with professionalism, warmth, and memorable hospitality. This stay exceeded our expectations. We left delighted and certain we'll return.

The beach service team took care of us and watched out for our safety in the water, which made swimming much more relaxing. We also enjoyed the electric bikes and frescobol games, little extras that made our time in Japaratinga more fun and complete. Aysu offers a real experience of the destination, not just a place to sleep. We slept wonderfully every night. The bed was outstanding, with a Simmons mattress and Trousseau sheets, giving the room a rare level of comfort. Saulo welcomed us with genuine, polished attention and was always available. His suggestions for cocktails, other drinks, and house wines were spot on for our tastes and the moment. Chef Renata made every meal a highlight, with great technique, flavor, and presentation. The shrimp risotto was especially well done, and the fish moqueca was delicious, balanced, aromatic, and clearly prepared with care. Staying at Pousada Aysu in Japaratinga lifted the whole trip and is the kind of visit that stays with you. We left wanting to come back, and I recommend it without hesitation.

I chose Pousada Aysu on a feeling, and it turned out to be the right call. Even before the trip, Danielle messaged to ask about our food preferences, restrictions, allergies, and the reason for the stay. That early attention gave me a sense of what was to come. Joana welcomed me kindly when I arrived, and there was a delicious little gift and a personalized card in the room. Those details made a connection. Food and drink service is one of the pousada's strongest points. Saulo leads the team with organization and a constant eye on the details, and his kindness and care stayed with me. Abdias Ramos and Clayver were efficient, friendly, and genuinely attentive at both the restaurant and pool. Ari rounded out the team with an easy, alert manner and was always available. Chef Lau's food was excellent, delicious, and very high quality. I ate every meal at the pousada, and it was consistently good from start to finish. The rooms are spacious, the bed and pillows are very good, and the shower was excellent. The beachy look has a bit of rustic simplicity that makes the place comfortable and welcoming. The beach out front is beautiful, with warm, clear water. Between the pool, gym, and shared spaces, I could take the days slowly without needing to go out. I had seven days of attentive, kind care from people who clearly care about their guests' experience.

The staff deserve a 1000. They're attentive and quick to help, but still respect your privacy. The beach is beautiful, calm, and lovely for swimming, as everyone knows. Pousada Aysu is wonderful. The rooms are gorgeous and comfortable, with the best sleep, and the bedding, towels, and amenities are all excellent. We loved the distinctive restaurant menu and everything we ate. The chef will also make personalized dishes if you ask. Breakfast is the best I've ever had, and there are different ways to enjoy your time, including bikes and inflatable boats. The gym is very good too, and the wifi works! I've stayed at plenty of charming pousadas in this region and elsewhere, but Aysu really won me over.
