Apartamento Manay

We stayed for one night and it was very good. The place was nice and clean.

The flat was clean and cozy, with a good standard of finish. We booked through Airbnb without any problems, and the owner was attentive and gave us useful tips for meals and excursions. It’s a reasonable distance from the bars, so it was quiet enough to sleep, but still close enough to walk there. The center, with restaurants, bars, and shops, is about a five-minute walk away. There’s also a nearby bakery and market, and the parking lot and UPA are close by. The kitchenette has a working minibar and two-burner cooktop. The air conditioning cooled well, though it was a little noisy in the suite I stayed in, but bearable. I connected my Samsung phone to the 32-inch sansung TV to watch Netflix over the flat’s wifi. The wifi sometimes seemed overloaded and the videos froze, but it was usable; 4G in the area worked well most of the time. One downside was privacy in the "amor" suite. Its window is beside the bed, next to the entrance gate and the way to other rooms, and the curtains are thin, so that could be improved. Photos on Airbnb and tripadvisor are faithful to the place.

Manay was the flat I stayed in, and it was well equipped with no issues. The host Marden was relaxed and easygoing, and his family was the same. He was available whenever we had a question or ran into a problem. There’s a padaria, pharmacy, market, and bike rental place about 50 meters away, just beside the condominium’s internal street. It’s a quiet spot, away from the noise in the village center. You may want to be in the middle of things when you go out, but you’ll appreciate being away from the racket when it’s time to rest. From what I saw, the "rede Manay" has three accommodations in different places: Manay, Villa Mar, and Villa Chic Hostel. Make sure you know which one you’re reading about. This review is for Manay Flat, which has a kitchen but no breakfast, even though some comments praise the breakfast. My wife was concerned that the window glass looked transparent, but only the top half is clear. The bottom half is opaque, and there’s a curtain too, so it felt secure.

The studio was comfortable, clean, and well equipped, and the place was very peaceful. The owners were welcoming and the service was excellent. There’s a padaria, supermarket, and pharmacy nearby. Great value for money if you want comfort and a quiet stay. I recommend it.
