We had a great meal at the restaurant for lunch, especially the superb lobster and seafood dishes. The atmosphere is lovely, and you can spend the whole day by the lagoin without paying extra beyond what you consume. Delicious food, highly recommend.

You'll need to reserve ahead. It's worth the visit if you're after soft music, good food and a peaceful day at Lagoa do Paraíso, away from crowds. We ordered the Cataplana de Frutos do Mar, which was delicious and easily served three of us. We only came for the day, but I'd love to return and stay a few days to enjoy the quiet.

It's a tucked away, 'exclusive' hideout lodge, with very friendly staff and an incredible lagoon front. You can even have drinks in the lagoon, haha. Prices are moderate. Definitely worth visiting, just remember to reserve before you arrive.

The owner makes you feel welcome with an easy mix of warmth and sophistication, and the meal at Casa B&B feels like a whole experience. The tasting menu was lavish and carefully put together, with striking presentation and flavors and textures that kept surprising us. The ingredients had impressive variety and abundance, with dishes that felt rooted in tradition but also modern. It’s the kind of cooking I’d expect to impress even discerning diners at top New York City restaurants. A real oasis of flavor in paradise, and an essential visit for anyone wanting a refined, pleasurable meal.
