The location and breakfast were good, but I wouldn’t recommend staying here. I was startled by the room’s setup as soon as I walked in and immediately regretted choosing it. There was no window, and when I showered, the water wasn’t draining properly. The bathroom had two doors, one into the room and another leading to a strange space behind the air conditioner.

The room was tiny, with no ventilation, and the bathroom had a horrible sewer smell. I felt like I was in a prison. The towels were dingy, and I don’t recommend this pousada. They also wouldn’t let us pay in installments by credit card, just all at once.

Ayla at reception welcomed us warmly, and Regina made a delicious tapioca with care. Breakfast was simple but tasty, with a good variety and great fresh fruit juices. Our room was clean, the beds were good, and both the shower and air conditioning worked well. The location is convenient, close to the beach and main streets despite being in an alley. The pousada does need structural improvements, though, and the rooms have no windows or ventilation. Cats wander through the sofas and corridors, leaving an unpleasant smell.

I wouldn’t recommend it. The rooms are cramped and don’t look like the photos, and there’s no ventilation. The TV didn’t work, and the air conditioning couldn’t be adjusted properly. Service left a lot to be desired, and we didn’t have a good stay. Anyone with claustrophobia would struggle here. Everything is so tight it can make you feel short of breath.
