The weekend was ruined by how much time and energy we lost dealing with terrible service. After all the trouble, the owner, Sra. Arilma, was extremely arrogant. She said the problems had been fixed, offered to do us the favor of letting us leave our things at the other inn, and told us we'd have to remove them because this place would close at noon. We spent the time until noon wandering around, then the agency had to find somewhere else for our luggage. We lost the day and the trip we'd dreamed of taking was spoiled. Our Saturday check-in was supposed to be at 2 p.m. We arrived around 3:30, and only a woman cleaning our room was there. We had to wait for an employee from another inn, Águia da Vila, which has the same owner, to come receive us. She didn't know the place. They put us in a room where neither the TV nor the air conditioning worked, then cleaned another room and moved the bedding over because there wasn't enough of it. After we went for a walk, we came back to find the shower wasn't working either. More than an hour of attempts to fix it later, another employee from the other inn came to let us use a shower in a different room. The toilet was leaking, the towels were torn, and there were other problems too. The only reason we weren't alone there was that a man doing painting work at the other inn happened to be sleeping there. The place felt abandoned. We also had to travel to the other inn, which isn't close, for breakfast. Checkout was at noon, but the agency that booked the stay had agreed our bags could stay there until 4:30 p.m., when our transport was due to pick us up. When we asked to shower before leaving, the owner said she'd charge R$ 10,00 per person, and that leaving our things there would cost half a day's rate. That wasn't what the agency had agreed.

The rooms didn't match the photos at all, and construction at the back of the house meant constant banging when we were trying to rest. The inn seemed to be run by the employees, while the person who says she's the owner just looked on as if nothing was happening. I honestly wouldn't recommend it. My stay was awful. We booked through the website, and when we arrived they put us in a room opening onto the kitchen. We said we couldn't stay there because of the noise, so they moved us. The air conditioning in the second room was broken, which meant another room change. In the third, water kept running into the toilet, the TV switched itself off, and the air conditioning stopped cooling at a certain time.

My stay was pretty bad. One person in our group didn't get one of the rooms in their reservation. We were told the shower was broken and could give us an electric shock, so we ended up with just a tap instead. The bathroom was tiny and had nowhere to put our things. The power went out more than three times, and in the middle of the night we were left without electricity and with no staff on site. In the morning, a cockroach flew at my niece when she went to the bathroom. The beds, air conditioning, and friendly staff were the only positives.

The inn is simple and suits people trying to save money in Jericoacora while still enjoying the village's scenery and adventures. The trip back and forth to Jericoacora can get tiring if you have to make it several times a day. The room had a bed, a hammock hook, air conditioning, a TV, and a bathroom. There's no electric shower. I wish I'd brought a hammock. Breakfast is basic, but for the price you can't expect too much. It fills you up, and they make fried eggs and tapioca to order. They also sell lunch from R$13,00. The seasoning is delicious and the food is home-style, made fresh, so you may have to wait a little when you're hungry. I loved staying there. The staff are responsible, welcoming, humble, and very helpful. I recommend arranging a buggy tour with the person in charge of the inn. It's well worth it for seeing different places and having an unforgettable adventure.

Some of the employees are friendly, and the inn has air conditioning and internet. But it's neglected and badly managed, with no organization. Sometimes there's nobody available to help guests who need something or are arriving. The shower doesn't work, the TVs only get paid channels, and breakfast was poorly served. They even ran out of sugar. Honestly, I don't recommend it to anyone who wants at least some peace and quiet.
