Apart no Mardisa Design por Carpediem

The apartment was spacious and really comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen. The location was good and easy for calling an Uber, and there's a Pão de Açúcar market nearby. Check-in felt lazy, though. The receptionists were poor at giving information, showed no initiative, and answered questions with a mocking tone. Since residents also live in the building, I had to keep calling the front desk to get access to the laundry room because the card doesn't open it. That got tiring. The washer didn't dry the clothes properly. We had to hang everything around the apartment because there was no drying rack, and the apartment rules don't allow clothes on the balcony.

We had a great stay at Mardisa Design. The apartment was modern, clean, and comfortable, and the condo's common areas were very well looked after. The pool was wonderful, and the gym had good equipment. The location in João Pessoa was excellent. I'd recommend it.

What a mess of a hotel! The air conditioner in the room hasn't been cleaned in 3 years, and getting it to cool the place feels like it takes a prayer and three Our Fathers plus four Hail Marys. The unit is tiny for a room as huge as an orca, so it just doesn't cut it. The room is fine for sleeping, as long as you don't mind small cockroaches. The place has way too many fussy rules. It was blazing hot in the Northeast, and a really nice guy from RS couldn't take the heat. He took his shirt off to go to the pool and got into the elevator to reach the leisure area. They called him while he was in the pool just to scold him and say he couldn't be shirtless. He's in the Northeast! There wasn't even a bar of soap in my room. I called reception, and the guy gave a genuine laugh, said it wasn't his problem, and told me to contact the management company. What service! If you have sensitive skin, don't shower in the pool area. Your skin will end up like pork crackling for the weekend, ready to have cachaça poured over it. It felt as if the water tank were inside Krakatoa. I thought it was bad at first, and by the end it was still bad.
