I waited about 15 minutes at checkout because I needed an invoice or statement to prove I’d stayed there. The attendant gave me a piece of paper without the hotel’s name, company registration number, or anything else my employer would need to reimburse me. He gave me a WhatsApp number and said the invoice would be emailed, so now I have to chase that up. What a hassle. The receptionist also wanted me to go back to the room to get the key card. I asked how I was supposed to get in, and he didn’t complete checkout or get the card from the housekeeper. I’ve never seen that before. The housekeepers have a master card for all the rooms, so what difference would it make? The building’s layout is poor. The garage draws more attention than the hotel reception, and the entrance is tucked away. Once inside, columns and support pillars make the reception hard to see, and staff sit behind a huge counter. The breakfast was very limited, with the same things every day, and some items seemed reused. It could have been great, but it was really weak. My room had poor sound insulation, so I heard guests slamming doors all night as they came and went. The whole corridor on my floor smelled of cigarette smoke, and I was told there are no smoke detectors. The furniture was too large for the room, with a huge bed and a badly designed wardrobe that got in the way. You also have to leave your card in for the motion sensors, because taking it out cuts the power to the room. The bathroom was tiny, poorly laid out, and looked dirty. There were no face towels. I thought I was getting a good deal, but this was my first and last stay here. If this is the PREMIUM hotel, I can only imagine what the basic chain is like. It’ll take a long time for this place to reach a good standard for lodging.

The staff were exceptionally polite and helpful, and the location is excellent. Tambaú and Cabo Branco beaches are nearby, with restaurants, craft markets, and easy routes to other beaches. The airport is about 30 minutes away. My room was a good size and clean, though the bathroom, especially the shower stall, felt cramped. Breakfast was decent and suitable for a pleasant stay, even if the selection wasn’t huge. I was in room 216, where the neighboring building is practically right up against the hotel and much taller. I could barely see the sky, which felt confining and was disappointing when I wanted to open the window and see the day. The pool is quite shallow, and the surrounding buildings make the leisure area feel boxed in too. Construction next door brought noise, music, and workers singing from 7 a.m. I also had noisy guests with their doors open and loud conversations late into the night. That was their lack of consideration, not directly the hotel’s fault.

The room was comfortable, and the window was well away from the bed. Its blackout curtain kept out light and noise, so I slept well. Breakfast was tasty, and the women working there were very courteous. At reception, Glauber was especially kind and gave me great sightseeing tips. We followed his suggested itinerary and had a great time. The nightly rate seemed like very good value compared with other hotels nearby. Maybe that’s because it isn’t on the waterfront, but we had a rental car, so that didn’t matter to us. The hotel is also close to the João Pessoa sign, a nice place to visit at night, stroll along the promenade, and check out the nearby craft market.

The door lock jammed when I was coming in, but the staff member on duty and the manager handled it quickly and efficiently, even though the manager was at home. The service was perfect, breakfast was fabulous, and the whole place was exceptionally clean. A special mention to Gustavo and joelton, who I got to know better during my stay. You’re incredible professionals. Thank you all so much. I’ll carry your kindness with me and in my heart. A big hello from this guy from Minas, uai! September 2025

The location and the staff’s service were good. Cleaning needs improvement, though: the shower stall and floor were dirty. Breakfast got repetitive, with the same cakes sitting out for days.
