Pousada Cabo Branco

A simple inn that was just right for me. I felt at home, and Alessandra, Kássia, Valéria, Rafaela, Júlio, and Sr Jorge all deserve thanks for their care and commitment. We didn’t lack a thing. The only things that need improvement are the shower, and the TV, which only has regular broadcast channels.

I booked in October 2025 for 03/01/26, but the accommodation canceled my reservation on 29/12/25. They changed the payment terms and wanted to charge me interest. When you make a reservation, you agree to the terms shown at the time, but the inn changed its mind and left me, my daughter, and my husband out of pocket. They simply gave our booking to other people because demand was high and the price they got was better for them. Money comes first, respect comes last. In response to what you wrote below, I can prove what happened. The manager called me asking for interest, and I only heard about the 30% because she brought it up on that call. The card didn’t go through because you rejected it so you could get the full amount upfront. I have screenshots and more to back this up. I’ll pursue my rights.

The room we had was comfortable, though I can’t speak for the others, and the TV had subscription channels. The inn has a good location and a nice breakfast, but the Wi-Fi signal in the room was weak. During our three-day stay, we weren’t allowed to use the pool because they said it would be cleaned, but it never was. The pool appears in the advertisement, and they don’t tell you ahead of time that it may not actually be available.

We arrived in João Pessoa late at night and, after finding the beachfront hotels full, ended up at Pousada Cabo Branco for the night. The room was compact and basic, nothing special, but we were exhausted and it met our basic need for a rest. The breakfast has tapiocas and crepiocas made to order, which we liked. It could work for a short stay if you want somewhere simple and functional.
