Hostel das Cores

Everything was very clean and organized, and the owners and staff were fantastic with us. Of all the hostels I've stayed in, this was the first where the air conditioning was available around the clock. For the price, it's the best place to stay in town. I had an excellent experience at Hostel das Cores and would happily stay there again. A big hug to the whole team, and I hope the hostel keeps doing well.

I booked a stay for the 26th because I had a civil service exam, and now I'm stuck without accommodation. When I made the reservation, the hostel said I could pay on the day. Today I got an email saying it was canceled for nonpayment. I contacted Hostel das Cores and they just told me they'd changed their policy and that, just as I got the cancellation email, they had sent me an email about the policy change. I never received that message. My bus ticket and exam are already paid for, and now I have nowhere to stay. They also blocked me on WhatsApp. Think carefully before booking with this hostel, because I don't think they're reliable.

Having helpful, polite people around really makes a difference. The staff were attentive and ready to share useful information about the city, and the room, bathroom, and shared areas were all pleasant and clean. Being right in the center was handy since I didn't know the area well. I have no complaints, and the stay was well worth it.

Right in the city center, with a great room and such a homey feel. The decor is iconic, and the service was great too. Memorable, timeless, and just iconic. When I come back to Juazeiro, my first stop will definitely be Hostel das Cores.
