Hotel Recanto da Lagoa

The room was nowhere near the clean, comfortable stay I expected. There was a cockroach, the bed was terrible, and the minibar was rusty. The old air conditioner didn't cool the room, there were no sheets or towels, and the bathroom looked dirty. The shower barely worked and only gave cold water. This place needs urgent maintenance and much better attention to hygiene. Unfortunately, my experience here was very negative.

The location is good and the outdoor area is very pretty, but the place needs a major renovation to serve guests properly. The breakfast was awful, with practically nothing to eat, and the staff paid no attention. My room door wouldn't close, the bathroom was covered in mold, and the minibar stank. It wasn't worth staying here, the worst hotel I've ever been in.

I stayed here during the pilgrimage and was disappointed. The building must once have been a great hotel, and the structure is impressive, but now it feels abandoned. The room door wouldn't close and the walls were all dirty. There was also a leak in the bathroom. They offer weekend day use, and some of the people using the pool looked unfriendly.

A cockroach in my room, air conditioning that wouldn't cool, and then people came to bother us in the middle of the night to ask pointless questions. Horrible.
