I've been to Juazeiro, Ceará, ten times with groups of up to two buses, around 90 people in total, and everyone was treated very well. Rainha do sertão is in a great spot beside the church of Mãe das Dores, and the owners are wonderful. I love this place ❤️

The reception is great, and the place is clean and well organized. It's simple but comfortable, and breakfast is wonderful. I recommend it ☺️

The location is central, breakfast is complete, and the price includes air conditioning, TV, a minibar, and parking. Back when I traveled as a pilgrim, I never had air conditioning in Juazeiro, so that was a real plus. The inn itself is “simple” in the best sense: it feels like being at home, with kind, attentive people doing their best to ease the discomforts of a long, busy trip. Worth checking out Juazeiro and staying at Pousada Rainha do Sertão.
