The front desk staff were kind, but I wouldn’t come back. The hallway was dark, the style felt old fashioned, and the mini fridge was empty. WiFi was terrible. The new air conditioner is the old window type and makes a lot of noise. The shower wouldn’t heat up at all, just cold, chilly water. Anyone with allergies should be careful, or at least avoid opening the closet. The front rooms are extremely noisy, with traffic, honking cars, trucks, and buses speeding by. Avoid those rooms. The location may work for someone who needs to stay nearby, but it didn’t matter to me.

I liked how the hotel brings together old glamour, with that 50s luxury feel, and the comfort and technology of today. It reminded me of Juiz de Fora, old and young at once. The bed was comfortable, the pool was great, and the food was delicious. A very nice place.

The room was otherwise pretty standard, and the location was okay. But the cleaning could have been better: there was a female hair fixer left in the bathroom by a previous guest. The sink tap also shut off right away unless I opened it a lot.

Constantino Hotel-Juiz de Fora, State of Minas Gerais is a very charming hotel, with several first-class services and a highly specialized team committed to serving guests with class and quality. Very good hotel and awesome people. Juiz de Fora is a city in southeastern Minas Gerais, near the border with Rio de Janeiro. It has some of the best quality-of-life indices among Brazilian cities and blends a charming, modern feel. By Brazilian standards, it’s considered safe. Just take the usual common-sense precautions and you’ll be fine. I’d definitely recommend it to friends and family.
