OYO Hotel Itaruma

I stayed here for an eight-week work trip. The staff are friendly and very attentive, and the rooms are cleaned every day. It’s a simple place, usually chosen because it’s close to businesses. The hotel has a decent setup, but it needs renovation. The furniture is old, the mattress and pillow should be replaced, and the corridor lights don't turn on automatically. The room has a fan, a minibar, and a good shower, though liquid soap by the sink would be useful. Breakfast is simple: fruit, bread, cakes, eggs or sausage, coffee, and instant juice. There are only a few parking spaces, and the gate is manual, so you need the receptionist available to stop and open it. Street parking is another option.

The hot shower had good pressure, and breakfast was better than I expected, even if there wasn't much variety. We stayed just for the night because there was an event nearby, then left after breakfast. For a longer stay, I’d look elsewhere. The hotel has a decent structure but needs work. Our room had old, crumbling furniture, graffiti inside, dirty walls, exposed wiring, and a very dirty, worn blackout curtain on the balcony. The mattress was hard, and our friends' bed actually broke. The corridors were dark with no automatic lights, so we had to look for a switch on the stairs.

120 reais well spent. Wi-Fi, a clean bathroom, and internet TV.

The room furniture isn't very good, and the beds were uncomfortable and creaked a lot. The garage is shared and cramped, with a manual gate, so you have to rely on reception to open and close it. The reception team welcomed me very well. They cleaned the rooms almost every day, and there were several choices at breakfast and dinner. The cook was very kind and attentive to guests.
