It’s been over a year, and this stay still sticks with me as a memorable stop on our honeymoon. Junior and his loving family made us feel so welcome. Papa Junior cooked the best breakfast we had in all of Brazil, and starting the day around his kitchen table was just perfect. We had funny conversations even though we didn’t speak the same language. Junior was a generous, genuine guide, always smiling and sharing interesting reflections. I can’t wait to visit again. Highly recommended.

Junior took us on the five day crossing through Pati, then guided us for three more days around the attractions near Lençóis. It was all incredible. Nei and his son Junior are so kind, gentle, and easygoing. Nei welcomed us with the warmth of a father and made a delicious, generous breakfast. Aconchego really lives up to its name.

Absolutely incredible. Nei, one of the pousada’s owners, made a breakfast so good it puts big hotels to shame. He’s also an experienced guide, as is his son Jr, who teaches capoeira. The room was spotless and smelled lovely, and the location was great, close to markets, bars, and restaurants. I recommend it to anyone visiting Lençois in Chapada Diamantina. Hope to be back soon!
