Dona Lurdinha and her husband are lovely hosts, and breakfast was decent. The pousada sits on a hill, giving a great view over town. If you’re lucky enough to get room 6 or 7 on the top floor, you can also see a waterfall from the balcony. It’s close enough to Lençóis’s historic center. Rooms vary in size; mine was spacious, with two bedrooms, a shower area, a toilet, and a balcony.

The breakfast was complete and delicious, a lovely way to finish the stay. The rooms were clean and well looked after, and the place was comfortable for resting after a day of adventures. It’s simple and has no luxuries, but there’s a really good feeling to it. Dona Lurdinha is extremely attentive, and the pousada is cozy and easy to reach, very close to town. It gave us that feeling of being at our mother’s or grandmother’s house.

Lurdinha was so sweet and made us feel very welcome. She chatted with us a lot, almost like a mother. We loved our stay. The pousada was comfortable, had a great view, and was close to both the center and the bus station.

My husband and I stayed here this month and were welcomed warmly. It’s a very good pousada, close to everything, simple but pretty, tidy, and clean. The breakfast was really tasty.
