A good breakfast and attentive staff, but otherwise it’s just adequate, nothing special. The mattress is soft, and the Wi-Fi doesn’t work well upstairs. The upstairs rooms facing the street get very hot in the daytime, though they cool down at night. The location is good, but there’s a lot of noise at night, especially on weekends, from bars, barking dogs, loud music and cat fights. That isn’t the hotel’s fault.

The breakfasts are well worth having, especially the bolos and sucos. This spacious two-floor B&B has shared facilities and is run very well by its manager, Gilbert, who’s a great conversationalist and can also act as a local guide if needed. It has a hostel-like feel, so you’re likely to make friends in the courtyard.

If you’re after luxury, this isn’t the ideal place, but otherwise it’s the best. It’s right in the center, less than a minute from the main square, with an incredible price and a wonderful breakfast. The owners are extremely friendly and polite. I highly recommend it.

A cozy, well put-together place in a great spot. You don’t have to walk far to get there, and it’s between the two liveliest streets, with restaurants and agencies nearby. Excellent value, congratulations!
