It's right in the city center, close to bars and restaurants, above a shopping gallery, and well placed for the heart of the Minas Gerais water circuit. Breakfast has plenty to choose from, including fruit, cheese, bread and the traditional pão de queijo. The rooms are basic but fair, with a good bed, cable TV signal and a bathroom. Staff were nice, there's parking, and pets are welcome. I had a good experience and hope to come back.

Miguel made the breakfast especially memorable. He cooked the scrambled eggs to order and was such a kind, attentive and polite guy. It was a pleasure meeting him. Marcos was just as attentive, helpful and polite. Dona Elina, the owner, welcomed us warmly at SION. We had a very good stay and got to enjoy both the city and the hotel. The hotel is well located and has good parking. The room was nice, with good curtains and blankets, and even on a very cold night we stayed warm and slept well. Breakfast was excellent, tasty, clean and well organized.

The location is handy for getting to the square and shops, and the hotel is right above a clothing gallery. The price is accessible, and the service was attentive. It's a pleasant, quiet place, with very nice rooms, a well organized and welcoming feel, and an excellent breakfast. I recommend it.
