The gardens, barbecue grills, pools, and overall layout are lovely, and I really enjoyed the place. But the chalet needed a much better clean: the sink was partly black and the towels were dirty. There was also a cockroach smell, and I saw several in the kitchen. One pool is being worked on, while the pool near breakfast is open. The product used in that pool can leave your clothes and skin green, which is a small but annoying issue.

The outdoor area is pretty, with a pool, hammock, and games area, though the leisure spaces are split between two units across the street. We stayed for a weekend in the hibiscus suite, and cleanliness was a serious problem. The pillows on the single bed were filthy, the floor was dusty, and there was a dried dead cockroach under the bed. The box beds are small, especially the single one, and its light foam mattress kept slipping out of place. Under the bed base was dirty too. The mattresses had no fitted sheets, just one loose sheet that kept sliding off and exposing the dirty mattress. Nobody came to clean the room during our stay, and the toilet paper wasn't replenished, so we ran out. There was no shampoo either, only a bar of soap. The bedsheets and towels aside, the basics need attention. There's room to improve, especially since hygiene matters so much.
