After a 10-hour trip, we were made to stay at a place we hadn’t chosen, with no chance to decide. Our children were frightened by how dirty and neglected it looked. We had booked a pousada with a pool and balcony, but were given a room with no window. The reservation came through Hoteis.com listing it as a pousada. We arrived at a dirty place with terrible service, then were taken somewhere else with the explanation that rain had damaged the original location. But the pousada photos don’t match the place we were shown. It was advertised with a pool, yet the facade photos and pool photos appear to be from different locations. We felt pressured and intimidated. Nothing shown on Hoteis.com matched the place.

A terrible pousada. The room and bathroom were dirty, and the sheets and towels looked like they hadn’t been properly washed, with stains on them. Breakfast was very bad too, and we even found moldy bread.

The kitchen had ants, and the bread at breakfast was moldy. In the bathroom, there was no toilet seat, and the face towel already had lipstick stains before we even checked in. Forget the photos. God forbid.

The kitchen was dirty, and there were ants in the toaster. The bread was moldy too. Our room was bad, with a bed made up in a blue sheet 😝, and the bathroom was dirty and had no toilet seat. It would take improvement in everything to make this place decent. I won't post the photos here, okay.

The room was filthy and packed with mothballs, and the beds were awful. The bathroom was dirty, with no toilet seat. Breakfast was disgusting too, with moldy bread and a dirty toaster full of ants. Don't waste your money. Just horrible.
