I spoke with neighbors, who seemed fed up too. They said the man cuts grass every day, and runs the machine for maintenance when he isn't mowing. I complained at what they call portaria 2, since management was closed for the holiday, but nothing was done. The noise continued on Good Friday, Saturday, Easter Sunday, and the Tirantes holiday yesterday. As I understand it, the law doesn't allow disruptive noise on any day or at any time. People should be able to live without disturbing others. If he wants to cut the grass, he could use a machete, hoe, electric motor, or something. It's complete disrespect for guests. Since this seems to happen regularly, not just once, I expected the owner of Sua Casita to have complained before, but they seem to tolerate the disturbance. I won't return. I picked the place after finding it through Google. I wanted some quiet, time in nature, and a break from the daily rush. Sr Daniel, the business owner, explained everything in advance over WhatsApp. It's easy to reach, inside a gated community with 24-hour security, and the inn has its own parking. Sr Daniel greeted us himself, was friendly and welcoming, and showed us to the chalet and how things worked. The place was clean and pleasant, with a garden, pool, koi pond, and barbecue area. Breakfast was generous and served in the chalet. They can suggest places for lunch or dinner, and you can also order delivery there. Simon, the cat who acts like the local “superintendent,” was adorable. I'll be back and recommend it to anyone looking for peace, quiet, and nature.
