Cabanos Suites

It’s a pleasant, cozy place, though a bit far from the beach. There’s no garage of its own, but it was easy enough to find a spot around the hotel.

This inn was awful, everything about it was bad. Breakfast had no fruit, napkins, coffee, or variety. In the room, the sheets were tearing and the little table was coming apart. The shower fell apart while my wife was using it. Everything was terrible. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone, so don’t stay at this inn.

I spent four nights here in October 2024, and the photos are very misleading. The room and bathroom smelled bad, the bathroom was tiny, and the towels were poor. Nobody cleaned the room during those four days, or even took out the bathroom trash. The staff were friendly, but they weren’t prepared to deal with tourists. Before 5 a.m. they started getting breakfast ready, banging things around and playing music from a phone loudly enough to wake you on the upper floors. It was absurd, as if they were in their own homes. Breakfast was basic and nothing was replenished. I didn’t feel safe on the street away from the beach, or in the parking area, which was an open lot some distance from the inn. It’s very expensive for what you get. The glass door by the breakfast area was broken and could hurt someone, and the sun lounger cushions were useless. Sitting on the wood was completely uncomfortable because it was so hard. The place urgently needs repairs and improvements. You plan a vacation somewhere you’ve always dreamed of visiting and end up at an inn like this. Honestly, it was very sad.

The reception staff were very attentive, and the place was clean, though the location wasn’t the best. The rooms are cramped and have no windows at all. I’m a bit claustrophobic, so I had to go outside for air in the middle of the night. There’s a TV with Netflix, a minibar, and air conditioning. Breakfast was excellent, with a big variety, and the bed was decent enough for a good rest. Unfortunately, the inn let a political candidate put up a huge speaker wall right in front. Since I hadn’t slept well at night, I couldn’t rest during the day either, because the room would actually shake. That was a management failure. Without that, I’d still recommend it for the value.
