Maragobeach Suits

We decided at the last minute to stay while visiting Maragogi for the day, and it saved us. The place is clean and affordable, and the service is excellent. There’s no sea view.

We loved how attentive they were. Every night, after we asked for hot water to make coffee, they brought a tray with cups and thermoses. The room service was impeccable too. Our room was cleaned and tidied daily, and always smelled fresh. Breakfast came to the room right on time, with a different menu each day and a choice of items. We couldn’t manage to eat it all. Everything was hot and freshly made, and all the utensils were wrapped in plastic. They’re really careful about hygiene. We highly recommend it.

The best part was definitely how welcoming and attentive the team were. The hosts and their daughter gave us lots of tips for outings and places to eat, plus a transport contact. Breakfast was delivered to the room at the time we requested. They also lend out a hair dryer and iron at reception. We stayed in an upper-floor, sea-facing room. The place is simple but clean, with no mold or musty smell, though it doesn’t get much ventilation. The bed and bath linens were new and clean. The location is great if you mainly need a place to shower and rest or sleep. It’s on the street before the beachfront road, where most of the people and bars are. We had heavy rain and flooding from 15/06 to 20/06, and some places were inaccessible by low cars. There were power cuts at pousadas and restaurants, and it became impossible to pay by pix or card in some places. Maragobeach Suits wasn’t affected: it didn’t flood and has solar power.

They welcomed us well, and the room was clean. Still, it felt cramped and had no ventilation. The bed was uncomfortable, with a poor mattress and an uneven frame. The bedding was low-quality synthetic fabric, and reception hours were limited.
