Pousada La Riviera

The staff were incredibly friendly, and the place was spotless. It’s right on the beach, with plenty of restaurants an easy walk along the shore. It felt like we had a private beach to ourselves. I’d happily stay here again and recommend it.

The pousada is in a fantastic spot, just a few minutes’ walk from the town center, and the nearby beach and sea are beautiful. All the staff were very friendly. Breakfast had lots of variety, and they offered to make tapioca, omelets, and other dishes. We stayed seven nights. Our room was quite small, and the shower had weak flow and pressure. I would have liked the water a little hotter, too. One thing we didn’t like was being told when we arrived that the room we’d paid for had no view. For 100 reais more per night, they offered a larger room with a partial sea view, but that option hadn’t been available when we booked.

After a terrible accommodation experience in Peroba, La Posada Riviera was a lovely place to spend a vacation. It’s a beautiful, well-kept old house. The room had what we needed for a good night’s rest, with nice beds and sheets, and the bathroom was very clean. Jefferson and the rest of the team also deserve a mention for making guests feel well cared for. The place lives up to what it offers.

Maragogi is such a beautiful place to spend a vacation, and we’re very happy to be here. The beaches are peaceful, even on weekends, and everything feels very tranquil. There are very few Argentinians around. The pousada is right on the beach, which is hard to beat, and the cleanliness is excellent. Breakfast is very complete, and the staff are attentive and really friendly.
