Pousada Tapitanga

The rooms were excellent, and the price was very good. Service was excellent too, and breakfast was high quality with plenty of options. The only thing I’d add is warmer lighting and individual lights in rooms with two or more beds.

The care they take with guests is incredible. The staff were so attentive, and my husband and I loved our stay. The room was spacious, the beds comfortable, and the air conditioning worked great. There was even a 40-inch TV, and everything felt luxurious. The pool was spotless, and the breakfast, service, cleanliness, location, and comfort were all top-notch. It’s very close to the beach and the Caminho de Moisés. I highly recommend this pousada. You can book without worrying and enjoy yourself.

The breakfast was really good, and the pousada is close to the beach. The women serving breakfast were helpful, and I thought it was a nice touch that they put out cake and coffee at reception in the afternoon. I enjoyed the place overall. There’s no parking lot, though there are a few spaces on the unpaved street. You have to wait for the person in charge to arrive for check-in or check-out, since she isn’t there all the time. I stayed in room 06, where the window faced the area where all the air conditioners vent. Hot air came in through it and made the bathroom extremely stuffy and hot.

The beach is wonderful. The boat trip and buggy ride are worth doing, and I especially recommend visiting Praia do Xaréu. ❤️ We’re from ES and had flown into Recife for some errands, then added five days to our trip to see the Alagoas coast. We’d booked Pousada Tapitanga ahead of time and were pleasantly surprised by how kind everyone was. The staff were all very polite, and I want to mention the owner, Jamilly, and Mayra at the front desk in particular. Mayra was such a sweet, helpful person. The service exceeded my expectations, and the place was so clean it felt like a freshly cleaned home. Breakfast was wonderful, with fruit, juices, bread, cakes, pies, quiches, and the amazing bolo de rolo. They also had coffee and little snacks at reception every afternoon. We’ll definitely come back to Barra Grande and stay with you again. You’re in my heart now!
