Breakfast was generous, with extra options included, like scrambled eggs with bacon and sweet or savory tapiocas. The beach is less than a block away, and there’s a little square with shops almost across the street. A pharmacy is two short blocks away, and Banco do Brasil is one block away. It’s a great choice if you want to reach the beach without walking far or driving.

The food at the small restaurant was delicious and very inexpensive, and breakfast was plentiful. The beds were comfortable, and the staff were very attentive. It’s a quiet, safe place, but quite basic. The shower swung between too hot and too cold, so I couldn’t get a comfortable shower.

We had a terrible stay and I wouldn’t go back. On arrival they put us in room 205, overlooking an air shaft filled with air conditioning units. It was impossible to sleep there, so we asked to move because sleeping in that room was inhumane. They then wanted to charge us 1000 reais more, nearly 8,000 Uruguayan pesos. After a lot of arguing and effort, they moved us to a somewhat better room without charging extra. Even so, the inn is very poor quality, and breakfast was horrible and very low quality. I definitely won’t return. Don’t go.

It was just what I expected. The inn is close to the beach and practically in the city center, which made getting around much easier. The place is simple but organized. I have no complaints about breakfast, it was perfect for me.
