Villa Pantai Boutique Hotel Maragogi

The beach was wonderfully quiet, with almost nobody there besides hotel guests, so it felt private and peaceful. The staff were super friendly and always ready to help, and the food was delicious. They were happy to make things on request, too. We loved the bungalow, especially its private pool and open-air shower. I can't think of a single negative thing about our stay. Thanks!

The staff at Villa Pantai Boutique Hotel were the best part of my stay in March 2025. They were already providing good service, and when I had a couple of problems, they went out of their way to help. One was noise from other guests at the pool around midnight; the other wasn't related to the hotel. I really enjoyed sitting in the hammock on the varanda and watching the tide go way out. The room was otherwise great, though there was a sewage smell like other reviewers have mentioned. It seemed to clear after a septic truck came to empty the system. My room also had a bathtub, but there was no hot water running to it. The hotel is a bit far from central Maragogi, so having a car or a taxi or shuttle number is useful. They added a service fee to the full stay when I got the final bill. I felt the staff deserved it, but it seemed a little sneaky since it hadn't been disclosed earlier.

The restaurant food was good, but the menu was overpriced, and the drinks were too. Breakfast, on the other hand, really stands out, with lots of fresh, tasty options. Bruno and Erivaldo added to the experience, and the staff were outstanding, attentive, and always willing to help. A very good stay.

The suite was beautiful and had its own swimming pool. We also had great food and breakfast, and the hospitality and service were superb.
