We didn’t stay overnight, but we booked breakfast here, and it was a real treat. Michel and dona Marinalva were so thoughtful and attentive. They put together a huge breakfast for us, and everything looked beautiful and tasted delicious: coffee, graviola and cashew juices, coconut plant milk, scrambled eggs, Moroccan couscous, tapioca couscous with coconut, pumpkin bread, fried banana, and so much more. A 10 out of 10 for them. The space is cozy, full of greenery, cool, and wonderfully quiet.

Don’t come expecting luxury. Come ready for the happy simplicity of Bahia, and you’ll feel like you’re at friends’ home. Zezé and Michel are kind and cheerful, and the simple place is full of clever touches. There are lovely people, a breakfast full of treats and flowers, and a beach with a natural pool just 100 meters away. Sounds pretty good, doesn’t it?

Boki is all about a simple, warm experience, full of flavor and humanity, surrounded by nature. The little house is simple, but the service is attentive and good. It has everything to do with algodões! In a world of such artificial stays, this place feels connected to the town and to its surroundings, if that’s what you’re looking for instead of luxury. Michel and dona Zezé are wonderful people.

The breakfast is the highlight, carefully put together by Michel with so much care. The local dishes are prepared to a very high standard, and it’s a lovely choice for a special breakfast for two or a group. I brought my friends to celebrate my wife’s birthday. Book ahead. Michel sets the table beautifully with quality dishes and decorations that are a hit on their own. You’ll wonder whether to eat it or leave it as a work of art. You can be sure you’ll leave feeling full, body and soul. Boki da Zezé is a must-stop when you’re in Algodões. The garden is beautifully done and charming at any hour, day or night, and the kids love it. During the day, there are juices and ice cream to cool you off; later, you can grab delicious snacks made right there. Don’t miss the tapioca cake with dulce de leche.
