It’s a special spot close to the piscinas naturais, with a quiet atmosphere and lots of contact with nature. The breakfast was amazing, and so was the attentive service. They really take care with the details.

Our room was lovely and spacious, thoughtfully organized, and came with a small balcony with a hammock and table. There’s also a clothesline out there, so beachwear dries quickly. Sílvia, the owner, was very kind and attentive, and shared several useful tips before we even arrived. The pousada is near Taipu de Fora’s natural pools, with a small market across the street and a few bars and places to get snacks or lunch. Taipu itself is quiet, but getting there without a car is difficult and expensive. Plan to stay more days if you want to enjoy the natural pools. We loved the experience, a 10 out of 10!

The pousada is beautiful, very clean, and well organized. Our room and bathroom were both spacious, and the host was really helpful and friendly. It’s on the street by the island’s best beach, where you’ll find the natural pools of Taipu de Fora. We loved our stay, such a great choice!
