The pousada is well located, and breakfast was delicious. We stayed for 5 days, but on the second day our room’s TV broke, and we had no TV for the rest of the stay. The pousada was empty, so I don’t think the owner made much effort to fix it. They could have brought a TV from another room or moved us. Also, the pousada is locked at night. One evening we ordered pizza and had to eat it with our hands because there were no utensils or glasses available for guests to use. Everything else was fine.

I really enjoyed the pousada. My room was spacious, the bed linens were clean, and room service was available. Breakfast was very good too. Special thanks to Lene and Sandra.

Lene runs the breakfast treats, and her corn cake is ridiculously good. The crispy bolinho de estudante and delicious tapioca are worth a mention too. She’s so warm and easy to talk to, and gave us great tips for food and outings. Mayane handled our reservation from the first contact and was very attentive. She booked us a top room, and before we’d even left, we’d already said we wanted the same one next time. The breakfast was simple but changed every day and tasted great. We had a wonderful stay in a really cozy place with excellent service. I recommend this pousada, it’s well worth a visit.

It’s such a beautiful, cozy pousada, and they put so much care into the food and cleaning. Breakfast is simple but unbelievably good. It’s about 5 minutes on foot from the pier and 3 minutes from the village. I loved it and plan to come back.
