The location is hard to beat if you love unspoiled beaches, natural pools, coral, and tropical fish. We stayed with family and friends and had a fantastic time. It's a small boutique style hotel, so the owners can give guests plenty of attention, and the staff were helpful and thoughtful about the details. The food was fantastic too. I had some of the best fried shrimp I've ever eaten at their restaurant. It really felt like paradise.

Lucas and Fernanda took such special care of us, which made the whole experience at Kandui feel memorable. Best place in Barra Grande! Come stay, relax, and have fun.

The view, menu, and staff were excellent, and staying right by the sea at the best villa was lovely. Still, I'm not sure the price is worth it. There was no microwave or some other basic kitchen equipment, and one room's shower took a long time to heat up. The armchairs need cleaning, and we heard this is a common issue in the other accommodations too. There were some leaks, but they were manageable and didn't reach the beds. I'd suggest doing some research before booking.

The road in is unpaved and pretty rough, so you get dusty on the way, but arriving at Villa Kandui and seeing the beach made it worth it. The place was clean and organized, with a delicious restaurant, a generous breakfast, and a great, attentive team. Rooms were airy and cleaned every day, and the pool was great, though we couldn't use it for the last two days because it was being cleaned or something like that. The beach is one of the most beautiful I've seen, quiet and not full of loud music. We were lucky to catch a samba night, which made the stay even nicer. If you want comfort, a great menu, and a lovely beach, you'll find them here. Highly recommend!
