Pousada Jesmar

What stood out most was the first-rate service. Everyone was kind, warm, and genuinely concerned that guests have a good stay and want to return. In these strange times, it's rare to find people who feel so human. Pousada Jesmar is in a great spot on Praia do Francês, in Marechal Deodoro on the southern coast of Maceió, AL. It's on a quiet, safe street near the beach and the BR, with easy access from either the north or the south. The facilities are pleasant and the quality for the price is excellent. I'd recommend staying here when you visit Praia do Francês and enjoy the local scenery. We'll be back!

Dona Sueladia is a sweetheart, and so is her whole team. My family and another family of friends stayed there in January 2019, and the place was simply charming. The accommodations were very good, and the grounds were lovely, with a wonderful pool. We had such a great time staying there that we've recommended it to all our friends from Brasília planning to visit the area. We couldn't stay there this year, unfortunately, but we did manage a quick visit to give them a fond hug. Highly recommended for a lovely stay at Praia do Francês!

The pool was clean when we arrived, and the room was tidy and cozy, with air conditioning. Breakfast was a real highlight, with such a wonderful variety: cooked banana, cassava, couscous, fruit like papaya, mango, watermelon, melon, grapes, and guava, plus coffee with milk, chocolate milk, cashew juice, yogurt, cake, bread, and a selection of cold cuts. We got a great welcome too. I really recommend this pousada!

We stayed for six days, and every day we felt more at home. Su, the owner, treated us with so much love and care that we wished we could stay longer than planned. Breakfast was perfect, the rooms were cleaned daily, and the pool was clean and warm throughout our stay. A wonderful place, ten out of ten.
