I hope this feedback helps the business improve and keeps guests safe. On my first stay, I found a condom near the bed, which suggested the room hadn’t been properly cleaned before check-in. The second stay was worse. The shower leaked in every direction, including onto exposed electrical wiring, which seemed like a serious shock hazard. The air conditioner was just for show, with its electrical installation completely dismantled. The toilet flush didn’t work unless I moved the tank lid, and water from the flooded bathroom ran into the bedroom. I just reported these problems at reception and accepted the situation. Smoking is also allowed in the shared breakfast area, where there were several ashtrays. Honestly, I hope nothing bad happens to anyone, including the owners.

The warm welcome from the team made our stay at Pousada Flats Miramar in Maricá feel special. We were comfortable throughout, and you could tell the place had been put together with care. We’re grateful for the hospitality and all the thoughtful details. We’ll remember it fondly and hope to return soon.

The staff were attentive and helpful, and the location is convenient, close to the city center with plenty of shops and restaurants nearby. Room 8 was spacious, with a double bed, armchair, desk, wardrobe, and lots of outlets. The hangers were in very poor condition. There was also a small kitchenette with a mini-fridge, sink, and cupboards, though no kitchen utensils. Breakfast had enough variety and was filling, but nothing was replenished after 8 a.m. The room was above the kitchen and its window faced the shared area where breakfast was served, with loud music playing all day, so it was noisy. At night, a horrible smell from the bathroom and kitchenette drains spread through the room. The old mattress was uneven, the shower flow was weak, and the fan made noise without moving any air. The air conditioner cooled well, but it was old, loud, and had no remote.
