Pousada Xatô

The structure is good, and breakfast was good, but the owners haven't modernized the inn over time. The sheets and towels were worn and smelled stored away, while the pillows were hard and smelled unpleasant. There were four of us in one room, and we had nowhere to hang the towels we were using. The pool was dirty, even on rainy days when just clearing away the leaves would have made it look better. WhatsApp service ends at 18h, so after that you're on your own if something urgent happens. The property needs more dedication and effort to improve it.

The room was small, with a poor bathroom sink and just a fan. The bed had no mattress and was hard, the pillow was much too low, and the bedding was poor. Breakfast was mediocre, with no eggs and overripe fruit, served in a cramped space. Check-in hours were limited, and once the entrance closes at a certain time, you're left stranded. Horrible inn!

Sr. Ângelo and dona Regina served us a delicious breakfast and were so kind and welcoming. The place was clean, airy and quiet, with a spotless pool and birds singing freely. Thanks to both of them for their warmth and kindness. We'll miss you, and we highly recommend Pousada Xatô.

The owners, Ângelo and Fátima, welcomed us so warmly. Everything was very clean, and the room was airy with a wonderful view and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was generous, with a wide range of products. It's close to the center while still offering the peace of the mountains. I highly recommend it.
