The room was clean and everything worked as it should in suite Malibu 01, and the price felt fair for what we got. We were traveling and stayed just one night. I’d recommend it.

I stopped for one night during a long trip, but I wouldn’t recommend it. The rooms are expensive, and there were no instructions for turning on the shower’s hot water or using the room tablet, so you have to call reception for everything. The attendant was rude, and breakfast wasn’t included, not even a basic one.

The prices on the menu were reasonable for a motel: beer was R$ 6, Old Eight whisky R$ 9, mixed drinks R$ 12, and water and soft drinks R$ 5. But the full breakfast cost R$ 12 and was supposed to come with fruit according to the menu, yet none was served. Breakfast isn’t complimentary for an overnight stay, only for travelers from another city who are alone. It’s close to the highway, and reception service was good. The room itself needs work, though: broken mirrors, window locks that don’t work, and lights that either don’t turn on or keep flickering. The decor is a bit much, with very dark walls. The curtains are nice but need cleaning. The hydro has a control near the headrest, which is uncomfortable and could be dangerous if someone falls. The room cleaning also fell short. There were dirt marks in the jacuzzi, and the pillowcases and sheets were old and dingy. Staff were talking loudly, laughing and singing in the service corridor at 6 a.m., then someone doing the gardening blew leaves around at 8. If you stay overnight, expect an early wake-up. The price is high for what’s offered, and it just isn’t worth it.

The price was very affordable, and suite Maresias 32 was clean and tidy. Still, getting much rest was hard. The bed made so much noise it seemed like it might break, and there’s no sound insulation. We could hear everything in the room next door, as well as loud music from what I think was an employee cleaning a nearby room during the night.

The sheet was dingy when we arrived, and there was also construction noise at the motel, along with people making noise in the next room. Then they charged us R$ 50 for a broken key in the doorknob. My girlfriend and I had only touched the key, and we’d left the door just resting closed so the motel could get in. The woman said they had inspected the room and nothing was broken, but she wouldn’t let us leave until we paid. It was ridiculous. The service was awful, and they charged us for things we hadn’t used. Be careful. I complained to them on WhatsApp and was simply ignored. The worst experience I’ve had. I won’t go back or recommend it.
