The setting is one of a kind, and the chalet itself is amazing. One of the best trips I’ve taken with my wife.

The chalet was beautiful, surrounded by trees, quiet and cold, and the setting in nature felt special. The Wi-Fi was good, the bed was heated, and the TV was smart. But the service, parking, breakfast, and room cleaning all fell short. The owner is a nice guy, though he kept hovering and talking the whole time. You pick a breakfast time, but they decide what you eat, and there weren’t many options. The cornbread and juice they served seemed old. Parking was tight, and you could only park where they directed, with the owner or another man telling you where to go. The chalets are old and need pest control. There were lots of spiders, even above the beds, as well as beetles. The furniture and curtains were dusty and covered in cobwebs, especially behind the furniture. The bathroom’s main light was burned out, and the room was very dark. It was very expensive for the average service they provide.

The best moment was watching nature through the bedroom window as a light rain fell, with the fireplace burning in the room. The rooms were cozy, and the breakfast had clearly been made with care. Sr. Justino and Dona Hilda look after the place with a lot of dedication. We had a wonderful stay. It’s ideal if you want a quiet setting surrounded by nature and a warm, family-style welcome.
