The afternoon tea is something I really miss. They served a little cake and tea, and breakfast was a feast, with absolutely wonderful food. The room was incredible and smelled lovely, with diffusers. The owners are so sweet and caring, and they gave me great tips on places to visit and restaurants. At night the whole place was well lit, and the cool weather made it perfect for a good glass of wine. It’s a little way from town, but not too far. I missed having a fan or air conditioning, though the cool temperature meant I didn’t actually need either. Aside from that, it was incredible. I loved staying at Pousada Capricho, give it 1000 out of 100. I hope to come back someday.

The breakfast served in our room was fit for the gods, and the place was clean, fresh-smelling, tidy, and pleasant. The welcome was exceptional, and the service was wonderful. Antônio and Neusa deserve congratulations for all the care and attention to detail. To top it off, we took home pine nuts they had picked themselves. Such a great experience, we’ll definitely return!

Dona Neuza and Sr Antônio were very welcoming, and breakfast was great. The pousada is peaceful and has a stable internet connection. The rooms and chalets were clean, and the towels were changed daily. The water heated up quickly, so there was no need to turn on the shower and wait forever. I recommend the pousada.

The owners are so friendly and welcoming, and the location is excellent. The place feels cozy and has so many lovely decorative details. Everything was spotless, and the room smelled wonderful. We were very comfortable, and I’d recommend it for the whole family.

The breakfast was made with so much care, right down to the little details, and the staff were so warm. It’s a lovely, welcoming place with beautiful decor and spotless rooms. Monte Verde is well worth visiting, and staying at the pousada made it even nicer.
