I wouldn’t recommend staying here. My fiancé and I booked the Stuttgard chalet. When we arrived to check in, we were told there was a problem with that accommodation and that we’d be given an “upgrade” to Nuremberg instead. Before we had even agreed to the change, the receptionist mentioned that another couple had chosen to stay in Stuttgard despite a broken glass shower enclosure, which struck us as odd. Nuremberg didn’t feel like an upgrade at all. It was smaller than the room we’d booked, smelled closed up, had dust buildup, and had almost no windows with proper ventilation. The heated bed wasn’t working either, though they fixed it after we asked. A few days before the trip, I told them about my lactose intolerance and was assured the kitchen would be informed. But there was nothing suitable at breakfast, even though the inn asks guests for this information in advance. Later, when we spoke with the couple who stayed in Stuttgard, we found out they’d also had accommodation problems and were offered the option of staying in the very chalet we’d originally booked. That made the whole situation even more confusing and contradictory. It’s hard to understand how an inn with more than 30 years of experience could have such serious communication and management failures. The stay fell far short of our expectations and left us feeling that the service was disorganized and not transparent.

The room was a little dim, but I guess that’s typical of hotels. The breakfast was incredible, one of the best I’ve had. Valéria and Lázaro served us and were so attentive, and they really made an effort with the meal.

The main thing we wanted was peace and quiet, and the Wiesbaden inn was perfect for that. We spent a lovely weekend in the Bonn chalet, with birdsong at the window in the morning and a faint beam of light coming through the curtains. It’s a wonderful place to rest without noise or commotion. The sauna worked perfectly, and the pool was clean and very well maintained, though it isn’t heated. Breakfast was tasty and homemade, and the spa therapists were professional and effective during our massage. Service from reception through the kitchen was excellent. Special thanks to Val, Lázaro, and Maicon for being so friendly and helpful. We’ll definitely be back.

The place is beautiful, with a good room and a great fireplace. The staff were very good, especially Sr. Lázaro and Dona Val, who were exceptional. The problem is the owners live next door and have dogs that bark at anything, disturbing the guests in the Premier chalet where we stayed. Imagine a dog barking like crazy at 5 in the morning. Lovely!

The shower had a problem, so we couldn’t get a proper bath during our stay. The water was either hot enough to burn or cold. Management tried to fix it while we were out in the center, but it didn’t work. This was our second time here. The accommodation has great service, but we won’t be coming back.
