Such an amazing place!...

The location is excellent, very close to Monte Verde/MG. You can enjoy the charm of the town and the quiet of the countryside at the same time. The rustic setting fits beautifully into nature, with an incredible view, and the chalets follow the same style. It’s a cozy, different kind of stay for anyone wanting to slow down and step away from the rush of everyday life. There aren’t many power outlets in the rooms, though that does fit the idea of unplugging a bit and enjoying the outdoors. The one thing I’d improve is the lack of room service during the stay. Daily tidying and fresh towels would make a difference to comfort and the feeling of cleanliness. We managed fine because we’re used to keeping things organized at home, but I think that service would add a lot for guests. It was a very pleasant stay. I recommend it for anyone looking for peace, nature, and a simpler, welcoming experience.

This was our second stay, and I’m sure it won’t be our last. The grounds are huge, ideal for resting and being close to nature, and the staff are always warm and attentive. Spending late afternoon in the ofuro while looking at the scenery is lovely. The dogs are gentle and don’t come over unless called. They NEVER came into our room, even though I played with them on the balcony. There’s a stream running alongside the hotel, making a lovely little sound that helps you relax. Remember, this is a nature experience, and nature, believe it or not, has bugs. I came away recharged again!

Zero score. They failed at the basics. I rented the “Superior Family Chalet” specifically because it was listed with two bedrooms and a pool view, as shown in the photos and description. Instead, they put me in an inferior chalet with one bedroom and no promised view. The shower was also faulty, swinging between very hot and cold and making a decent shower impossible. They offered no remedy. Consumer Protection Code violations: Articles 30 and 35, failure to honor the offer: the supplier must provide what was advertised. Refusing or being unable to do so requires immediate remedy, which was denied. Article 37, misleading advertising: advertising that leads consumers to misunderstand the service’s features and details is prohibited. Article 20, quality defect: the faulty shower made the service unsuitable, and the difference between the booked chalet and the inferior one reduced its value.
