The simple breakfast was excellent, and you could tell it had been prepared with care. The place also felt clean, had working hot water, a good location, and no insects. It’s not a luxurious or newly built stay, and communication wasn’t the easiest for me as a foreigner, but the owner kindly took care of all my requests. I spent two nights here over Easter. It reminded me of visiting my grandmother’s home in the countryside as a child, and I’d love to come back. I highly recommend it.

The owners are charismatic, the breakfast is excellent, and the setting is beautiful and peaceful. I’d gladly recommend it, especially for the value. People who complain in other reviews seem to expect five-star hotel quality without being willing to pay for it, and then demand things that aren’t offered.

A clean, peaceful place in a handy spot on the avenue, close to everything. Good choice if you’re after some quiet.

We rented two triple rooms for our family and were warmly welcomed by Wanderlei and Jaci, who were excellent hosts. The inn is close to the center, cozy and family-friendly, and even prettier in person than in the photos. For what we paid, we got a lot, and I left very satisfied. The rooms stayed warm even though it was 7 degrees, so we didn’t need to light the fireplace. There were plenty of clean, warm blankets, and the shower water was really hot. The rooms were tidy, and while we were out they cleaned again and replaced the towels. Breakfast was delicious, with lots of typical Minas Gerais food. They even asked if we wanted anything else and made scrambled eggs for us. I miss that breakfast already, we wanted more! We spent three days there and loved it all. I don’t understand the negative comments I saw, they seem spiteful. If you want a luxury inn, look for a five-star place. If you want a welcoming, family atmosphere, this is it. I recommend it without hesitation. ♥️
