This was just the kind of inn we were looking for, quiet but with easy access to town by car or on foot. There's parking in front. Sérgio was wonderful, so attentive, friendly, and polite, and his mother was lovely too. We were really happy with all the attention they gave us. The place was very clean, and having hot water at the bathroom sink was a great extra. I loved it. When we come back to Monte Verde for a weekend, we'll definitely stay here again.

Everything was clean and well cared for, and the reception was first class. Dona Izabel made a fantastic breakfast. Sr Sérgio's welcome was above and beyond. I'll be back soon!

We loved our four days at this wonderful inn and plan to return. It was 1°C and bitterly cold in town, but in our room we had a fireplace, warm blankets, and a comfortable bed. Breakfast was delicious every day, with pamonha, cakes, and a huge range of fruit, cold cuts, and bread. The owners were lovely and attentive.
