Pousada Jardim das Montanhas

We were a family of three, and the mezzanine room was a nice feature during our stay. The staff were attentive and efficient whenever we needed something, and the garden was a real highlight, attractive and well kept, with a pleasant place to relax. A convenient place to stay with good service.

The reception staff were proactive and attentive, and answered our questions right away. Breakfast had lots of choices, including bread, cake, gelatin, and cold cuts. Our room was lovely and very clean, with shampoo, conditioner, liquid soap, bath foam and salts, and firewood provided. The location is perfect, about five minutes from the center. We're loving the stay, had an amazing experience, and have nothing to complain about. We'll definitely be back!

We were there last weekend. The place was average, neither good nor bad. The bathroom drain was clogged, and the comments suggest it's been an ongoing issue. Breakfast was average too, and you have to pay extra for eggs or tapioca. I wouldn't return.

The breakfast was extremely basic. Cold cuts and cheese bread weren't freely available, so we had to keep asking, and omelets and tapioca cost extra. The strudel was badly burnt, as shown in the photo. I've visited Monte Verde before and found places far better for a similar price. I tried somewhere new and it didn't work out. I don't recommend it. We stayed in the duplex suite with a whirlpool, and problems started as soon as we arrived. The message I'd requested in advance for my wife wasn't left in the room, and the tub drain was clogged. The water smelled like sewage and wouldn't heat up. I complained the next day, and they fixed it afterward, but I effectively lost a night.
