Hotel Recanto das Hortências turned out to be a really happy surprise. After booking through the app, I liked what I saw there, but then I searched on Google and found complaints saying the place didn’t look like the photos and was bad, dirty, and so on. My experience was completely different. It was clean, organized, and very cozy. I love the rustic style, which makes the place feel even more special. The view is beautiful, it’s close to town, and the whole space is comfortable. I could easily have stayed longer. I was so glad not to find any of the problems described in those negative comments. I’d definitely recommend staying here, and I’ll attach photos because it’s an experience worth having.

We stayed for four days and found the place comfortable and pleasant, with a great, generous breakfast. It was very quiet, about 1,500 m from the town center on Av. Monte Verde. Every room has a fireplace, and the double bed is huge. The listing says there’s no gym, but I can confirm there is one, and it’s well equipped.

The staff were very attentive, and the breakfast was really good, with lots of variety, fresh fruit, and natural juices. That’s always a plus for us when we stay at a hotel. It’s quiet, close to the center, and surrounded by nature. The rooms are a bit old, and the bathroom is on the small side, but it works. The bed is comfortable. Very good value for the price.
