The road to the hotel is a drawback, and there’s no restaurant inside, but it still deserves five stars. The rooms are cozy, the fireplace is nice, the staff service is excellent, and the prices are fair. Breakfast was good too.

We loved the room and found the place very cozy, just right for a break. Breakfast had a delicious homemade feel, better than at many luxury hotels I’ve stayed in. Marcelo welcomed us and was a great host. At breakfast, another very polite woman greeted us and shared tips and recipes for the pies she makes herself.

The breakfast was perfect, easily one of the best I’ve had at any hotel, resort, or inn. The staff were all polite and helpful, and the service was wonderful throughout our stay. I’ll come back and recommend it for sure.

We were welcomed warmly, and everyone was attentive and friendly. The resort is lovely, easy to reach from central Monte Verde, and has three beautiful macaws. Our room was very clean and nicely set up, with wonderful towels and robes. The kitchen had a working microwave and minibar, plus plates, cups, cutlery, and two glasses each for sparkling wine and wine. They left kindling and firewood for the fireplace, which was enough for our stay, and the heated blanket on the bed was unbelievably good. The one thing I’d improve is the room heater, since it doesn’t warm the whole room. They’re renovating the heated pool, jacuzzi, sauna, and massage room, so we’ll return to enjoy those. Breakfast was perfect too. The dining room is beautiful and cozy, the women working there were so friendly, and there was a great variety of delicious food.
