Hotel Nacional Montes Claros

Hotel Nacional in Montes Claros offers good value, with an organized, comfortable setup that suited my needs for a stay in the city. Its location also made getting around easier and saved time. From the moment I arrived, the staff were welcoming, quick, and ready to help. Special thanks to Cássia, who greeted me on my first day with warmth, professionalism, and attention to detail. The whole team was polite and efficient, and you can tell they care about guests. I recommend the hotel and will gladly return.

Room 213 was in terrible shape. The shower dripped from the middle and leaked at the sides, and the water never got warm. The sink water smelled bad, the bathroom tiles were grimy, and the bathroom window and sill were filthy. The desk towel and bedroom door were dirty too. The bedroom floor smelled moldy, and turning on the air conditioning made me sneeze because of the dust. The white Mondial fan had a broken base and made a terrible noise, and it took a while to get the TV working. Breakfast was awful, with hard cakes and weak, unpleasant milk. The outside walls and corridor doors were dirty and peeling, and the old stair tiles were broken. This was the worst experience of my life. The hotel needs a major renovation inside the rooms and outside in the corridors before it can operate properly again.

It’s a simple hotel run by simple people, but it gave me comfort and convenience. Thanks to all the staff who do their best every day. I’m grateful for the welcome I received from reception. I recommend it, and if I get the chance, I’ll definitely stay here again.

I was here for a work trip, and the shower was broken on three of my four days. Each time, the excuse was that one employee hadn’t passed the message on to another. There was no room service, and on Sunday there wasn’t enough breakfast. It was a complete mess. This isn’t about the company I work for, the hotel just lacks the resources and ability to solve guests’ problems.
