The daytime receptionist is very friendly, but the building is old and poorly maintained. The lack of cleaning horrified me. The reception upholstery was visibly stained, the bathrooms were filthy, and there were obvious bleach marks where someone had thrown bleach around without making an effort to clean. The carpets had brown stains unlike anything I’d seen in a hotel, and the room windows and floors were dirty too. I tried changing rooms three times, and every one was in the same condition. A nightmare if you care about cleanliness. And to top it off, trying to take a hot shower gives you an electric shock.

A very good hotel right in the city center. Breakfast was satisfactory. I paid 280 reais for three adults, and I recommend it.
