Pousada Sempre Viva

The location is great, right in the center of Mucugê, and Neide greeted us warmly. Breakfast was very good, but that was the only bright spot in our stay. The room smelled strongly of sewage as soon as we walked in. We found the toilet was loose. The next day I told Messias, and also explained that the TV didn’t work and the fan was making an awful racket. We couldn’t use it without it blocking the TV. I have respiratory problems, so I politely asked to move to another apartment since several were empty. He said there wasn’t one available, but I saw multiple rooms left open during the day. It felt like he simply didn’t want to move us. The only thing he changed was the fan. I stayed three days for a race, and the mold left me feeling unwell when I went to compete. Sleeping there was a struggle. There was so much dust on the TV cabinet you could write in it. There’s no reception, which wasn’t a big deal by itself. I’m sorry, but I can’t recommend the place. I came because someone who had stayed there suggested it, probably in a different room. They’ve lost customers. I took photos of the open apartments.

A beautiful place with lots of greenery, a lovely garden, and a strong sense of security. The owner serves you personally. It’s also great value, so I always recommend it and bring my clients here.

The room had a strong sewage smell and was poorly cleaned. They also took a long time to attend to us and make the rooms available after check-in.

Right in central Mucugê, this is a simple, tidy inn with comfortable beds, Wi-Fi, and an electric shower. Breakfast has a good range of fruit and fruit juices. There’s no air conditioning, though I didn’t miss it, and the room had a table fan, minibar, TV, and a wardrobe for clothes and belongings. For someone spending the day around the area and mainly coming back to sleep, it’s a good option. There aren’t leisure facilities on site apart from playing cards and dominoes.
