Pousada Trilha Do Sol

The location is really handy, right in the center, two blocks from the beach and two from Av. Petrobrás, the main avenue with the shops, bars, restaurants, and Passarela da Cultura. We were charmed from the moment we arrived at Pousada Trilha do Sol, after Margareth gave us such a friendly welcome when I called to book. Everyone was so caring throughout our stay. The breakfast always brought something new, with homemade cakes lovingly made by Mrs. Clotilde and her daughter. They were both so careful and attentive, and even the tablecloths were spotless. In the evenings, Mr. Paulo, Margareth’s husband, was always very thoughtful. A lovely place, and I recommend it to anyone thinking of staying there.

Dona Clotilde runs the inn really well and is very attentive. Just remember it’s an inn, not a hotel. The rooms have a TV and air conditioning, though a few things need maintenance to be perfect. The staff’s kindness and willingness to help stood out. We traveled with a small child and were able to use the kitchen to wash and organize everything we needed.

The Wi-Fi was down for a few days because of the rain, which was the only real issue. Otherwise, the apartments were pleasant, the staff were very friendly, and breakfast had a good selection of fruit. Comfortable stay, and I’d recommend it for a family holiday.

The owner of the inn is very attentive, and the central location is convenient. The rooms could use an upgrade, though. The TVs are old and the signal is poor, the Wi-Fi keeps varying, and maintenance problems take too long to get sorted.
