We were three people staying for three nights in June and had a great time. The pool deck was lovely, though we only used it for a late-night nap. Breakfast had a good range of options and was better than average for a continental breakfast. If you expect an American breakfast, you won’t find one here, or anywhere else. Staff were extremely accommodating and helpful. The location worked well, across the street from Praia das Artistas, with a quick cab ride or an easy 20-minute walk to the fort. Well worth it. google

There were bugs in the bedroom, and the shower was tiny. The hotel fell well short of what the photos and ads led me to expect, and it’s expensive for what you get. I don’t recommend it.

Que bosta. This place is disorganized and unprofessional, so stay away. There’s no decent parking. The only space is behind the hotel, on a public street near a sketchy neighborhood. I’d look for somewhere near Ponta Negra beach instead.

The pool is good, and the hotel is right across from the beach. There are good, inexpensive regional dishes nearby. A good hotel.
